Solar-Powered Sustainability: Self-sufficiency in Clean Energy, 1,167 Tons of Carbon Reduction Annually

To cut carbon emissions from the source, Lifud has deployed solar photovoltaic power generation systems at its two automated intelligent manufacturing bases in Zhongshan and Sichuan since 2024. The Zhongshan base’s system was put into operation in April 2025, and the Sichuan base’s in January 2026. Since then, the two bases have become sustainable “green power stations,” with an expected total annual power generation of over 2.2 million kWh.

This means part of the electricity needed for factory production now comes from sunlight, eliminating the consumption of fossil fuels and carbon emissions. Lifud’s photovoltaic project is expected to achieve: A carbon emission reduction of over 1,167 tons of CO₂ per year, equivalent to planting about 64,000 trees annually.

Lighting accounts for a significant portion of global energy consumption, and the efficiency of LED drivers plays a critical role in sustainable lighting development. Let’s do the math: for a factory using 2,000 240W high-bay lights operating 12 hours a day, a 2% efficiency gain results in electricity savings over a 5-year warranty period of:

240W × 2% × 12H × 365 days × 2,000 pcs × 5 ÷ 1000W/H = 210,240 kWh

This translates to 210,240 kWh of electricity saved for the factory, equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 115.6 tons.

Lifud’s annual shipment of full-series LED drivers exceeds 80 million units, with power ranging from 1W to 1000W. Based on an average of 60W per unit, Lifud drivers help global lighting projects reduce carbon emissions by over 1 million tons every year!
